Adelaide Rammed Earth

With over 25 years of experience in building rammed earth walls, Adelaide Rammed Earth comprises of a friendly and professional team. Generally we build external walls of 300 or 400mm thickness, and internal walls of 200mm thickness. We are able to build a variety of rammed earth features including chimneys, niches, columns, raking and curved walls. Exterior walls can also be insulated with bulk insulation inserted into the middle of the wall during construction. Walls can be stand alone internal walls giving aesthetic and thermal benefit to the two rooms either side of the wall, or load bearing structural walls. Rammed earth is compatible with many other types of construction and can offer a welcome contrast to a lightweight building.
